Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Trade Hon Lt General(Rtd) Sibusiso Moyo
Zimbabwe has made it clear that it does not view itself as a foreign adversary of the United States of America. This comes after President Donald Trump’s National Security Adviser Robert O’Brien specifically named Zimbabwe as a foreign adversary. O’Brien claimed that Zimbabwe together with China are trying to take advantage of the violence in America over the killing of George Floyd by Minneapolis Police Officers.
However, Zimbabwe has vehemently rubbished the allegations and made it clear that it is not and has never been an adversary of the United States of America. This was said by Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Trade, Sibusiso Moyo in a statement on Monday.
