Mahwindo foundation heaven sent: Rumbidzai Tsvangirai

Rumbidzai Tsvangirai got a shock of her life when charitable Mahwindo Foundation came to her rescue with baby clothes and other infant goodies for her triplets.

Two weeks old Eastview triplets who made headlines last week on various social media platforms, yesterday where showered with baby clothes and other infant goodies courtesy of Mahwindo foundation.

The triplets Mukudzeyi, Munenyasha and Mutsawashe born of Rumbidzai Tsvangirai and Davson Nzuwa.They were blessed following their mother’s outcry for help since she was struggling to make ends meet on her own after Nzuwa had dumped her. The young trio would be heard crying day and night due to hunger since the mother was not producing adequate milk as a result of her poor diet.

Mahwindo Foundation together with Peter ‘Dewa’ Moyo delivered baby clothes and other infant goodies including most wanted baby milk (NAN 1) a perfect substitute for breast milk.

Speaking to 263Bulletin soon after handing over of the baby hampers, socialite Wanisayi “Mama Mahwindo” Mutandwa, managing director of Mahwindo Foundation expressed her profound gratitude to her sponsors, Danya, Boss Scott, Felix, Thandie, Craig Studios, Brenda Kaguda, Rumbidzai, Dj O, Edward Chimedza and Never Chinedakufa who made the donation a success through their generous gestures.

“We will be back here to get the house renovated for the safety of our precious triplets, one of our sponsors have pledged 10 bags of cement to facilitate house and floor renovations,” said Mutandwa.

Mama Mahwindo reiterated that,” we ordered more things from South Africa because here most shops are still closed due to the Covid-19 induced lockdown and we will deliver them as soon as they reach us”.

“We call upon more donors, corporate world and other private business players to join hands in assisting this young single mother , who has since been dumped by the baby father Davison Nzuwa, her current situation is so heartbreaking,”said Mutandwa.

Ms Rumbidzai Tsvangirai could not hide her joy, articulating that Mahwindo foundation was sent from heaven as it came at a time when she has been praying day and night for a good Samaritan who would come to her rescue.

To date, Mahwindo foundation has sponsored two sets of triplets, the other one is in Kuwadzana,they vow to continue assisting them through thick and thin.

“I am so proud to be a granny of six kids including the trio Mukudzeyi, Munenyasha and Mutsawashe i have just met. The other set of triplets resides in Kuwadzana and we vow to continue supporting them in which ever way possible,” said Mutandwa.
