CAYGE releases new track “Kuchengera Rudo” featuring Maskiri and Mentor

Rising Zimbabwean rapper Cayge has released the much anticipated track “Kuchengera Rudo”, featuring Maskiri and Mentor. Born Vincent Chagonda, Cayge says music is something that talks to him when words fail to express and explain, music does.

Speaking to 263Bulletin, young talented Cayge reiterated that his musical journey started way back when he was in Grade 6 and he is still going strong without looking back nomatter the hindrances.

“I started singing when i was in Grade 6, we had a home studio at home that was my first studio i worked with, it enhanced my confidence on the microphone clearing off that condenser microphone phobia which most new artists encounter on their first day in studio,” said Cayge.

Cayge articulated that,”the home studio moulded me into a better artist who can sing quiet well with my natural voice with or without mic,i just produce same sound, the way i speak is the same way i sing, i am natural and makes me a better artist, music is my passion and i love what i do.”

“My style of music is not so easy to unpack, i do justice to every genre as long as it brings out the best on my creativity, i am compelled to deliver nothing but the best to my fans, in short i am just versatile a true attribute of a fine artist,” Cayge said.

To date,Cayge has done numerous collaborations with Zimbabwe’s finest artists including Maskiri, Trevor Dongo, Ti Gonzi, GZE, Quazor ,Noble Stylz, Ab Crazy and Tonic.

“I’ve worked with Maskiri, Trevor Dongo, Ti Gonzi,Noble Stylz, GZE, Ab Crazy, Quazor and Tonic”, said Cayge.

Currently, the talented rapper is working on various singles and videos. His 3rd video titled “Tsamba Yevakuru“,will be out soon.
