Mahwindo Foundation pledges to support artists

Mama Mahwindo ,through her Mahwindo foundation is set to extent its giving hand to local artists tomorrow( Friday ) at Zi FM Stereo in the Capital. In an interview with 263Bulletin, music promoter Wanisayi “Mahwindo” Mutandwa, Managing Director of Mahwindo foundation expressed that music industry in Zimbabwe and globally has been greatly affected by the deadly Covid-19 pandemic making life hard for artists who largely depend on live perfomances for survival.

“Covid-19 pandemic exhibited a devastating effect in our music industry, making it hard for some artists to put food on the table. As Mahwindo Foundation, we stay true to our pledge of supporting artists through thick and thin. Arts is business and we are commited to support Zimbabwean arts,”said Mahwindo.
