CAPS UNITED

Warriors and Zhejiang Greentown striker, Nyasha Mushekwi has spoken out on the matter of the the bus which he donated to CAPS United, for club transportation.

The club bus made headlines on various social media platforms after pictures emerged, which saw heavy bags of maize being packed into the team vehicle.

This stance left wagging tongues with some suggesting that, it was abuse of property as the bus is supposed to ferry players to intended football ,match tournaments.

However, the club articulated that the maize was going to be distributed to players and staff as cushion during the ongoing Covid -19 induced lockdown.

Several people were not impressed and suggested that the team could have hired a truck to carry the heavy sacks.

Speaking with Star FM’s Yvonne Mangunda, Mushekwi(32),reiterated that he had no problem with that at all and it didn’t bother him in the least,he went on to say its not his bus as he gave it away to Makepekepe.

“Many people have asked about my thoughts regarding that picture, but i told them its not my bus.The club can use it in whatever they want, even putting pigs underneath”.Mushekwi said.

Mushekwi did not mince his words, saying it was not up to him to dictate what Caps United out to put in their bus rather they can do as they please since its theirs.

“Caps United has existed for many years, who am i to tell them how to run something just because i donated it”, Mushekwi added.

He said if you give something away it’s not your business how people end up using it and he has no right to police it.
