Speaking to 263Bulletin soon after receipt of the enamoured thank you letter Mahwindo echoed similar sentiments.
“On behalf of Mahwindo Foundation i would like to express my profound welcome, actually i’m humbled by this gesture,”said Mahwindo.
Mahwindo articulated that “,”this one is a clear testimony that Salvation Army congregants are doers of the word not they are not mere listeners and it reminds me of this bible story in the book of Luke(luke 17vs 12-18) when Jesus cleansed 10 leapers, only one came back to give glory to God”, she said.
“Our donations are not a sign that we are sufficient, rather we are just sharing the little we have with the elderly ,single mothers and we are not doing it for gold but we are only doing it for the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ who inculcated this spirit within us,”said Mama Mahwindo.
Mahwindo Foundation is giving food aid to the elderly in these tyring times of the Covid- 19 induced lockdown which has left most Zimbabwean senior citizen vulnerable.
On the 9th of May, Mahwindo foundation stretched its giving hand to the people of Banket ,the recipients walked away with grocery hamper comprising 10kg roller meal,2 litres cooking oil and a packet of sugar beans.
“We are calling private and public stakeholders to join hands in this fight of Covid -19 in which ever way possible, remember we are blessed to be a blessing to others”,reiterated Mahwindo.
We are really proud of this foundation, may the living God lift this foundation to greater heights
Amen!thank you for supporting 263bulletin,stay updated with us 24/7
